With the entry into force on January 28, 2022, of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 on veterinary medicinal products and repealing Directive 2001/82/EC, all entities conducting the importation of pharmaceutical active substances (APIs) intended for the production of veterinary medicinal products were obliged to create procedures and obtain entry into the National Register of Manufacturers, Importers, and Distributors of Active Substances maintained by the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate.
