Pura™ coatings are a formula designed to meet the expectations of the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical markets. They are free from potentially problematic additives whose future in the food industry is uncertain (one of them - banned in 2021 - disappeared from the market faster than it appeared).
They are based exclusively on pure, tested, and natural components, eliminate synthetic technical glycols, and do not contain minerals suspected of being contaminated with undesirable elements. They avoid carriers considered “technologically convenient but biologically unnecessary”.

What do science and regulators say?
There is a growing number of warnings that some additives may soon join the list of banned substances, similar to titanium dioxide (E171), whose use in food was prohibited in the EU in 2021. Which substances are in question?
Polyethylene glycol (E1521) - currently under the scrutiny of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). EFSA has published a detailed safety assessment, and industry sources report the possibility of its withdrawal from the food market.
Talc (E553b) - still being assessed in terms of contamination and technological purity, while regulators are increasingly questioning the rationale for its use.
